Hi, I'm Himanshu.

Software Engineer from India

I'm passionate about the intersection of Generative AI and immersive technologies like VR/AR. I'm currently exploring how to integrate LLMs into everyday life and contributing to open-source projects in the field.

I am...

01

A Self-Taught Developer

Passionate about coding and technology, I am a self-taught developer on a journey of continuous learning. From web development to software engineering, I thrive on challenges and enjoy turning ideas into functional and elegant solutions.

02

VR/AR and Game Developer

I believe VR/AR is a technology ahead of its time. The potential is enormous, and I’m confident that within the next 10 years, we’ll see it integrated into our daily lives. My journey began with Blender 3D, and I've since completed several VR projects using my Oculus Quest 2.

03

LLM Enthusiast /Developer

I'm truly passionate about what Large Language Models (LLMs) can do. I love diving into the world of natural language processing and understanding. I’m excited to pursue a career in this field because I believe in its potential to make a real difference.

Tech Stack

A few of the technologies I enjoy working with.

AR/VR, 3D

I began my journey with Blender 3D, and then expanded my skills to include Unreal Engine and other complementary tools like Quixel Mixer for texturing. While my primary interest isn’t in game development, I enjoy creating simulations for both PC and VR, also environment and architectural design. You can see some of my work on my ArtStation.

Programming

I am personally interested and self taught AI and ML using Python, also knows some libraries and framework like numpy, pandas, fastapi and streamlit etc.. Additionaly I have some experience with web dev using svelte, tailwind and js for front-end.

Python, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Svelte, Tailwind, SQL, Pytorch

Other Tech Tool and Applications

Personally I use PopOS(linux based distro) with Gnome DE for my daily drive OS. Apart from that I know tools like Git, Github and Bash .During my first job, I worked on a support project with the application CargoWise One, where I was involved in PAVE (automating business processes through workflow and visual boards), XML, and MSSQL. Additionally, I occasionally wrote scripts in Python to automate certain processes.

Git, Github, PopOS(Linux based distro), ServiceNow, CargoWise1

Projects

Here are a few of my recent projects.

InfoGPT: An LLM Chatbot to chat with your document

InfoGPT: An LLM Chatbot to chat with your document

I've built a tool that lets you ask questions about your own documents using a vector database, all through an interactive GUI I created with Streamlit. It currently works with the OpenAI API and Llama-based models (specifically GGUF files). You can upload files like PDFs, TXTs, CSVs, and DOCXs, and easily get answers from your own data.

Development of Educational and Industrial application in VR.

Development of Educational and Industrial application in VR.

I developed a virtual lab in VR using Unreal Engine, Blender, and Meta Quest 2. The immersive nature of VR, combined with unique hand interactions, real-time graph plotting, a whiteboard, interactive 3D widgets, and web integration. Software Used: Unreal Engine, Blender, Megascan, and Quixel Mixer.

An LLM based text editor(WIP)

An LLM based text editor(WIP)

I'm working on an LLM-powered text editor using Svelte and Tailwind for the frontend, with FastAPI, LlamaIndex, and Ollama on the backend. The cool part is that the text editor integrates directly with the Local LLM(privacy focused and no internet required), so you won’t need to leave the editor for tasks like summarization, context enhancement, asking questions, or even correcting grammar. It's still a work in progress, but I’m hoping to finish it soon.
